Terms and Condition Indoor Recreational Sports

Registration is primarily open to current NECOS members and is first-come, first-served due to limited spaces.
Members: September 25–October 5, 2026.
Non-members: October 5–10, 2026, only if spaces remain.

Registration is confirmed only after the applicable fee is received.
Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable.

The recreational season generally runs from October 2026 to March 2027, with separate Fall and Winter registration.
Participants must register separately for each session.
Schedules, locations, times, and fees will be announced once facility arrangements are confirmed.
Programs are subject to facility availability, operating requirements, and facility rules.

Member and non-member fees are separate. Drop-in fees may also apply.
Registration fees must be paid by e-transfer to the designated program account.
Include the program, session, and participant name in the e-transfer message.
Registration remains incomplete until payment is received and participation is confirmed.
Parking fees are not included.

Children under 12 and seniors over 60 accompanying a registered participant may use/enjoy the indoor facility without a NECOS participation fee.
Any fees charged separately by the facility still apply.
Facility capacity and rules apply to everyone.

Participants are expected to attend their registered sessions.
If a participant is absent, their spot may be offered to a drop-in participant.
Absences do not qualify for refunds, make-up sessions, or registration transfers.
Participants should notify the coordinator in advance when possible.

NECOS will make reasonable efforts to maintain published schedules.
Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather, facility issues, or circumstances beyond NECOS’s control.
Changes will be communicated through the appropriate program communication channel.

Participants should bring appropriate personal playing gear where required.
NECOS may provide shared equipment.
Participants must use equipment properly and follow instructions from coordinators, coaches, and facility staff.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. NECOS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Recreational sports involve inherent risks, including injury.
Participants are responsible for obtaining any personal insurance they consider necessary.
Participants must follow safety requirements, facility rules, and reasonable instructions.
NECOS does not provide personal accident or sports injury insurance unless specifically stated.

Participants must treat other participants, volunteers, coordinators, coaches, facility staff, and the public respectfully.
All facility rules must be followed.
NECOS may take appropriate action, including removing a participant from a session, when necessary for safety, order, or respectful participation.

NECOS may collect registration and demographic information for program administration, reporting, funding, statistical, and organizational purposes.
Photos and videos may be taken during programs and events and used for NECOS communications, reports, website, and other community purposes.
Participants with concerns about photography, video, or personal information should contact NECOS before participating.
NECOS will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy practices and legal requirements.

By registering, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable facility rules.
